There will be a temporary footpath closure, as outlined in the attachments below, from 2nd June to 2nd December 2025 whilst sewage works are undertaken.

A417 Missing Link

Works information – helping you plan your journeys.

Kier Transportation is working on behalf of National Highways to improve the existing A417 Missing Link. As part of the ongoing improvements to the network, there will be closures in place at the locations detailed on the attached letter below which may disrupt your journeys.

These closures are vital to ensure the programme stays on track and work can continue. Contractors will be installing drainage and excavating on the A436 and placing a contraflow in place on the A417 at Nettleton Bottom/Cowley roundabout location.
